We believe food and nutrition are a corner stone to our resident’s health and enjoyment of life.
To ensure we maintain our high standards and level of resident satisfaction we:
- Monitor residents food intake and balance of diet
- Individually assess a residents dietary needs
- Provide good quality homemade meals and desserts including some old favourites
- Source our produce locally and ethically
We take pride in using local suppliers and free range, organic ingredients whenever possible.
The fish we use can be from dock to plate in under two hours.
We have a hygiene rating of 5 stars
We work with the community dietitian to ensure that we are able to support and offer all specialist dietary requirements. Our menus include diabetic options and we offer MUST screening to all of our residents.
For those residents with identified problems we tailor a specific nutritional plan of care including fortified diets and enhanced monitoring.
